It is easy to recognise Gable front conservatories from their triangular front and their floor plan which is mainly rectangular. The front windows have been designed in such a way that they reach all the way up to the roof. This has greatly helped to amplify the general feeling of space and light. In the gable conservatory style, the front part of the roof does not quite slope backwards to the centre; rather the front remains in upright position, in a similar fashion to the end of most houses.
